We are three months before the European elections and New Democracy is weighing all the names that will make up its ballot, in order to manage the possibility of political attrition.
In this context, where the leaks to the right-wing parties from the government are reflected in all the polls, various names are heard, in order to rally the hard-right audiences around the New Democracy. A name that is being discussed very strongly, but nothing has been closed, is that of Failos Kranidiotis, who in 2016 was deleted from the blue faction by Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
It is recalled that in the previous national elections, the former president of the New Right had publicly expressed his support for the New Democracy and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, so that, as he had written, the “nihilistic Left” would not come to power.

The scenario of Failos Kranidiotis’ participation in the ND’s European ballot paper has already caused reactions in the right-wing apartment complex, with Konstantinos Bogdanos stating that “he played his agreed-upon role, he destroyed the only scheme with a perspective on the right of the ND, he threw Tzimeros out of politics , supported Mitsotakis in the second elections and now the fund is going”.
It is recalled that Constantinos Bogdanos was expelled from the party “Ethniki Naira”, where he led together with Thanos Tzimeros and Failos Kranidiotis. In the first elections of last year, the party was dissolved due to low performances.
