Vinci Construction has signed an agreement to acquire the construction companies of the family group Northern Group of Companies for an amount of € 65 million.

Vinci employs 5,500 people in Canada – including more than 4,000 for Vinci Construction – and carried out there in 2020 a global turnover of 1.1 billion euros.
This strong presence will be further strengthened with the acquisition – subject to approval by the Canadian competition authorities – of the construction companies of the family group Northern Group of Companies.
These companies are specialized in road works and the production of asphalt and aggregates in the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, on the east coast of Canada.
They employ approximately 500 employees during peak activity and achieved consolidated sales of C $ 93 million in 2020 (65 million euros).
