One of the cases investigated around unfaithful business operations concerns a small company called Commtrain, which made boxes for paying cash at the cash register.
Pierin Vincenz and his long-time companion Beat Stocker took part in it in 2005 with private money, without their employers being aware of this.
When Aduno, where Vincenz and Stocker held the leading positions, Commtrain acquired in 2007 for a sum of millions, Vincenz tripled its stake – to over 1.5 million.
When they were targeted by the criminal investigators two years ago, the lawyers of the two main suspects ensured that key documents were kept secret.
They sealed. The risk of a statute of limitations, which will occur in 2022, increased. Investigators threatened to run out of time.
The prosecutors now have enough to back up their allegations – at least they are convinced. It was necessary to unseal the sealed documents.
