Vincent Poirier’s NBA experience is not easy … After a complicated rookie season with very limited playing time with the Celtics, the tricolor pivot was sent to OKC, then Philadelphia, during the offseason.
Here he is in a third franchise in less than two seasons: he arrives in New York where he will try to find a little more minutes. He arrives in the triangle trade which notably involved George Hill, Tony Bradley and Terrance Ferguson, his new Knicks teammate.
Vincent Poirier will therefore know the leg of Tom Thibodeau, joining Frank Ntilikina. In the racket, he will find the local All-Star Julius Randle, the young Mitchell Robinson, but also Nerlens Noel and Taj Gibson.
