In his autobiographical book published on March 23, Vincent Lagaf ‘does not leave out any of the highlights of his life, whether positive or negative. The host even went so far as to recount the time when one of his great friends almost died because of him…
On March 23, Vincent Lagaf’ published his autobiographical book entitled My name was Frank and published by XO editions. A title which is a direct reference to the first name which had been attributed to him before being abandoned at birth. He therefore naturally recounts in this book his difficult youth but also his career on television. Because Vincent Lagaf’ has long enjoyed success by presenting very popular shows, such as Bigdil or The right price.
This last game, he animated it from 2009 to 2015. And in the idea of always renewing himself, he reveals in his book to have once gone “too far“. “I almost killed my friend“, he adds just after. And to explain that it was Gérard Vives, then in charge of announcing the candidates, presenting the gifts and giving the prizes. “I don’t know if you remember, he had his stand in the audience above the candidates’ entrance. That day, it was decided that I was going to pick it up with the arm of a mechanical shovel in the middle of the public. Don’t ask me where this idea came from because I agree, it was really a stupid idea in itself. In addition, we rehearsed too quickly behind the scenes“, recognizes Vincent Lagaf ‘, adding that all this was his “mistake“.
Gérard is propelled, falls very heavily on his neck and instantly loses consciousness
