A second part is in the works for Miravaldweep; This time Unni Mukundan too
The second part is being prepared for the fantasy film Mihawaladweep, which was released in 2005 and directed by Vinayan and starring Guinness Pakru and Prithviraj. Director Vinayan himself informed about this through social media.
In a post shared by Vinayan on social media, Vinayan says that after 18 years, he is starting another journey to see the sights of Miravaldweep and this time Unni Mukundan and Abhilash Pillai are there.
In the note, Vinayan also adds that after the film with Siju Wilson, the shooting of Miragadweep will start in 2024.
On the other hand, Abhilash Pillai says in the post about the film that when he saw Mihavaldweep in the theater 18 years ago, he never dreamed that he would be a part of the second part of Mihalavdweep.
Earlier, Vinayan had stated that the second part of the film can be expected and discussions are going on.
The film was directed by Vinayan and finally released in the 19th century. Siju Wilson played the lead role in the film.
