Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2024: Lineup, Competitions, and Special Guests

This Sunday begins the 63rd edition of the historic Viña del Mar International Song Festival, an event that brings together the most important protagonists of music in the region.

The festival will take place for six nights and will feature the presence of top artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Andrea Bocelli, Miranda, María Becerra and more.

The event will be broadcast throughout Latin America through the Star+ streaming platform.

For the international and folklore competitions, there are 12 selected participants who will compete for the Silver Seagulls.

Finalists in the 2024 International Competition: Luz Gaggi (Argentina), Charly Benavente (Chile), Enrique Ramil (Spain), Osvaldo Supino (Italy), Eddy Valenzuela (Mexico), Lita Pezo (Peru).

Finalists for the Folklore Competition: Ahyre (Argentina), Gardenia (Bolivia), Yaneth Sandoval (Mexico), Jonathan Chavez (Panama) and Ruby Palomino (Peru).

In this edition of the festival, the jury is made up of Manuel Turizo, Colombian singer; Young Cister, Chilean singer; María Becerra, Argentine singer; Ale Sergi, vocalist of Miranda; Bebe Contepomi, Argentine journalist; Constanza Santa María and Priscilla Vargas, journalists and television presenters; and Alejandro Chávez, radio host.

Cadena 3 spoke with Ale Sergi who came down to greet the fans who were waiting to see the artists at the hotel: “The people in Chile are lovely, they always treat us very well. “I feel at home here, they have supported us since we came for the first time.”

“We are very happy to be invited again for this festival; I really can’t believe it,” added the Miranda singer.

The event will take place from this Sunday until Friday, March 1.
