The public quarrel between Fast & Furious-stars Vin Diesel on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has since cooled, but Johnson has indicated that he is done with the main franchise and wants to focus more on his own spin-off series Hobbs & Shaw.After performances in parts 5, 6 and 7, the friction started during the filming of part 8. After this, Johnson refused to appear in scenes with producer Diesel and if you watch the film again, it is indeed noticeable that the two never share screen time together. despite the storyline.
Now, however, Diesel has posted a direct message to Johnson on his social media and it almost seems like an emotional request to put their issues behind them and reunite the ‘Fast’ movie family, see below:
“My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world is waiting for the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children call you back home Uncle Dwayne. Not a holiday goes by that she and you don’t send good wishes.. But now it’s here The legacy awaits I told you years ago that I’ve kept my promise to Pablo [Paul Walker, red] would fulfill”.“I swore we’d reach out and manifest the best for the finale which is Fast 10! I say this out of love…but you have to show up, don’t let the franchise choke, you have a very important part to play. Hobbs cannot be played by anyone else. I hope you seize the opportunity and fulfill your destiny”, according to Diesel.
Fast & Furious 9 was already received more mildly
In part 9 earlier this year, Johnson was absent and the most recent chapter was a lot less successful with fans commercially than its predecessors (okay, in part because of corona). But Diesel may seem to realize that much of the popularity also depends on Johnson, though he will never openly admit it.
