Vimeo adds Dolby Vision HDR support to Apple devices – Marseille News

On Friday, the video platform Vimeo announced a partnership with Dolby to offer hosting, sharing and playback of videos created in Dolby Vision on Apple devices.

Currently, the only Apple device that supports recording videos in Dolby Vision is the iPhone 12. But some other devices can view these HDR videos, including iPhone 8 and later, iPad Pro 2nd generation and later on iOS. 14, Apple TV 4K on tvOS 14 connected to Dolby Vision TV and Mac on macOS Big Sur or later.
