Canceled last year, the Villeurbanne Youth Book Festival is back in a hybrid format. It is indeed impossible to immediately find the great and joyful meeting of young reading aficionados, as we know it. But far from giving up, the organizers have built, around the theme “Not so stupid”, a program that mixes online meetings and workshops and a few “real” events spread over different places in Villeurbanne.
On the virtual side, children will be able to learn about animal drawing with Mathias Friman, or create animal portraits with Claire Cantais as a duo with one of their parents; while in the real world, they will respond to the challenge of Humaninals launched by Éric Simard, author of the series of the same name: imagine creatures half-children, half-animals, with the powers of superheroes (from eight years old).
Children’s book festival, until Sunday, June 20. Find all the program on fetedulivre.villeurbanne.fr
