Before savoring the joys of All Saints’ Day, the pupils of the Léon-Blum primary school, directed by Colette Monfraix, paid tribute to the memory of Professor Samuel-Paty, who was murdered two years ago.
This small ceremony took place under the courtyard of the plant in the presence in particular of Patrick Merceron, Éliane Pujol and Claire Alabert of the municipal team.
This moment of commemoration and reflection on this tragic event made it possible to sensitize children to the values of the Republic, including secularism and freedom of expression. The Léon-Blum school, through its pedagogical strength, organizes every year workshops or exhibitions on secularism which have been awarded on numerous occasions during the competition organized by the Audoise Federation of Secular Works (Faol).
