Firearms rang out again in Val-de-Marne. This time, the facts took place in Villejuif, avenue de la République, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, within a group of people from the Haitian community who were waiting for their meal order in front of a food truck.
The victim is a 25 year old young man. Around 1:15 a.m., when he was with a dozen people at the restaurant truck located near the southern entrance to the Hautes-Bruyères park, a shot was fired in his direction.
The SDPJ 94 seized of the investigation
A 9mm bullet hit him in the chest. The victim collapsed to the ground. His friends immediately called the emergency services, which arrived in stride. The Samu took him in charge and transported him in very serious condition to the Henri-Mondor hospital in Créteil. His vital prognosis was engaged.
The police were also notified and went to the scene to make the findings necessary for the investigation. The Créteil public prosecutor’s office entrusted the investigations to the Val-de-Marne departmental judicial police service (SDPJ 94).
Is it a dispute over alcohol? Retaliation on the sidelines of drug trafficking? Or perhaps a mistake as to the person targeted by the shot? The circumstances of the tragedy remained unclear this Sunday afternoon, according to the Créteil prosecutor’s office. No arrests had taken place by the end of the day on Sunday.
