Villaries. Shared and collaborative workspace

The social living space Sous les Tilleuls created by the association of the same name, is divided into three main areas: the cultural café to spend a moment, chat, but also to attend cultural events, the workshops which welcome adults and children in various fields and now a collaborative workspace.

This new space is open to everyone: TV worker, freelancer, student, artist, project leader, job seeker, volunteer… Everyone can settle down to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or schedule a meeting in this friendly and warm place.

An optimal Wi-Fi connection, all the appropriate equipment, users will have the ideal conditions to work by integrating a mutual aid community. And a little extra that is important, the presence of Pauline, the facilitator, who is there to guide and accompany those who wish.

Soon a specialized library will be made available, as well as “serious games”. In terms of prices, several possibilities including “volunteer barter”. Donating time for the association gives the right to benefit from a credit to use the shared and collaborative workspace.

All this is part of the continuity of the associative project: accessibility to all, participation in the development of the inhabitants of the territory, the strengthening of social ties and citizen participation.

Carnival: school children

marched in joy

Great moment of joy and return to happy days after the passage of the pandemic. Flamboyant and luminous colors dressed the children. The imagination of young people and parents has made it possible to create superb costumes of fairies, daltons, teddy bears, Indians, etc. All this little world, while throwing confetti, followed in the streets of the village Sa Majesté Carnaval.

But, doesn’t Mr. Carnival remind you of someone? This sad character with his surgical mask and his multiple tentacles or spikes that has been bothering us for more than two years? In front of such an individual, the sentence of the public was ruthless: Monsieur Carnaval, alias coronavirus, was burned in the public square. A harbinger of the definitive departure of covid?

After the cremation, a nice, well-deserved snack for all followed. The day, however, was not over, since in the evening, from 8 p.m. and without reservation, doors open to the village hall. Disguised or not, the festival committee continues with a festive evening with tapas and drinks. Then three young local singers “Les Pop’in” performed in concert to the delight of young and old.
