Dr. Sharif McCain, agent confirmed Ministry of Health In Dakahlia Governorate, he instructed the Department of Endemic Disease Control to develop a plan to vaccinate the residents of the village of Mit al-Khouli Moamen in the Miniyet al-Nasr Center against schistosomiasis, and to educate them about the dangers of bathing in the waters of the canals.
This comes after a group of villagers converted one of the lined canals into a summer resort, and they went down with their children to bathe in the water.
McCain added, in exclusive statements, that after presenting the action plan to him, citizens will be immediately vaccinated against schistosomiasis, in addition to holding meetings with them from specialized doctors, to educate them about the seriousness of their behavior, in order to preserve the public health of citizens.
A number of residents of the village of Mit al-Khouli Moamen turned a lined canal into a summer resort, and put sand, chairs and umbrellas on the beach. They also went down to bathe in the water and used air buoys for children, calling it the Ghalaba Beach, to escape the high temperature.
The behavior sparked mixed reactions among the pioneers of social networking sites, as some supported what happened, claiming to draw joy on the confusion of the simple, while others objected for fear of the spread of diseases, especially schistosomiasis, and the increase in the number of drowning cases.
