Village square – Alternative Leopoldi Festival in St. Andrä-Wördern

This year again, the popular alternative Leopoldi will take place on the “village square” of St. Andrä-Wördern, Josef-Karner-Platz 1 – a festival for the whole family! In the studios and workshops you can admire and purchase upcycling design and handicrafts. As part of creative workshops, young and old can become active themselves. The highlight is again the carousel of found objects, eco-tainment at its finest: while up to 15 people take a seat at the carousel game, 1-2 people pedal hard on the bikes and get the whole thing going. Popular gaming stations are also included again.

Program:

2 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Open workshops & artisansinside on site, carousel of found objects,
* 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Creative and children’s program: e.g. wood turning, building Bistelbots, telling fairy tales, games station and much more.

* 7 p.m.: Fire show in the courtyard

In the courtyard there are white sausages, punch and chestnuts. In the “court kitchen” there is warm food and other culinary offerings as well as a cozy end until 10 p.m.

Free entry | Contribution for rides on the carousel & creative stations.

“Leopoldi” is registered as a “Clean Festival”. Waste avoidance, regionality and sustainability are emphasized in all areas. This also includes: arriving by train, bike, scooter or on foot. There are sufficient parking spaces for bicycles in the inner courtyard or in the lower Waldgasse.
