Village Residents Worried About Being Landslide Victims, Ask South Tangerang City Government for Help

WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, TANGSEL – The City Government of South Tangerang (Tangsel) seems to have to move immediately, helping its citizens who are in trouble.

This is a mandate that the South Tangerang City Government must carry out as a protector of the people at the local level.

Currently there are residents in RT 004, Muncul Village, who live in areas prone to landslides.

This is known because there is a sign that is prone to landslides at the entrance to the settlement.

Just 50 meters walking inside, you will see a cliff on which a paved road has been built for residents to access to the tomb.

The cliff is only a few meters from the houses of the residents below.

From the monitoring of the Tangerang Tribune on the ground, there are two housing units attached to a cliff wall.

One of the houses appears to be in the middle of construction on the third floor, while the house to the right is only one story high.

While several other houses, the danger of landslides lurks from the back of the house.

Slamet, Head of RT 4, said that residents have long asked for attention from the government.

“We hope that the government will build a pavement. We really need access to this road,” he said, Saturday (27/5/2023).

“Then, the residents below are not only worried but worried about the danger of landslides,” he added.

“That’s why we expect attention from the government, because this is very urgent,” continued Slamet.

Residents show the banks of the Cipamingkis River in Sirnajati Village, Cibarusah District, Bekasi Regency, which have been eroded by currents so that they are prone to landslides. (city news/rangga baskoro)
