The municipality of Geiersthal is still facing major problems with the actually very idyllic pond in the village park near the town hall, which was only upgraded a few years ago.
For security reasons, it should be fenced in or designed in such a way that children in particular cannot be harmed. After all, this body of water is deep and there is a playground in the immediate vicinity.
The local council had therefore racked its brains several times about how to make this beautiful complex child-safe, but still visually appealing. The district consultant for gardening and landscaping, Klaus Eder, has now proposed to secure the rear side of the pond with a chain-link fence, explained Mayor Richard Gruber in the latest municipal council meeting.
