Enthusiasts should bring a well-filled wallet and do not think too long, but it is still possible: become the owner of the Spanish villa of Sjoerd Kooistra.
The villa is located just outside of Marbella and is currently being auctioned, reports Quote business magazine . According to the magazine, there has already been a bid of more than 3.5 million euros. That in itself is a bargain, because Quote knows, the construction of the luxurious house cost more than 6 million at the time.
Anyone who wants to overbid the amount must hurry. Bidding is still possible until Tuesday. Those who donate millions for the house will also receive some. There are two golf courses near the house. The property has a swimming pool and cinema.
A place in the Quote 500
Kooistra is still known as one of the largest catering entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. He had a permanent place in the Quote 500. On June 27, 2010 he took his own life. Shortly after his death, the company went bankrupt. There appeared to be substantial debts.
The video below gives an impression of what the buyer can expect for his or her millions.
