Subsidence forces the closure of the Ruta al Pacífico at the entrance to Villa Nueva
Meanwhile, said road section will be closed to prevent vehicle vibrations from increasing the seriousness of the situation.
For its part, the Municipal Traffic Police of Villa Nueva indicates that the alternate routes will be the following:
To go south: take a detour to Barcenas through the entrance to San José Villa Nueva and the route to the Tunnel, to later enter the route to the Pacific again at kilometer 22.
To go north: use the VAS route or enter through the Linda Vista neighborhood, to continue to the Mártires del Pueblo neighborhood and finally take Los Reformadores boulevard in the Alioto neighborhood.
If not, a third option, being diverted to the central area of Villa Nueva, by kilometer 18 downhill from the cross, to later join the Ruta al Pacífico at the exit from the center of the municipality.
