Vilavigne replaces the cellar of the wine cooperative

Built in 1933 according to the architectural model of the wine cooperative cellars of Languedoc, that of Nébian, Clochers et terroirs, was recently bought by the municipality and has perfectly succeeded in its conversion in three stages. The central part has been home to the Nebian climbing club Escalagou since 2014.

Following a rental contract signed with the association Le Noyau in November 2020, the old cellar has become a multisensory meditation center.

A wider selection

The vault, meanwhile, has been moved to a larger space, in the right wing. It becomes a shop of bell towers and terroirs joining the Vilavigne brand, in order to offer a wider selection of wines from the cooperation as well as a range of spirits.

This space was inaugurated on Saturday, December 19 in the presence of Jacques Henry, president of the cellar, and Olivier Plut, director. Responsibility for Vilavigne Nébian has been entrusted to Pascal Gelfmann, an oenologist who trained in Montpellier. He ran a Nicolas store for ten years in the Paris region. “I chose to come back to the Hérault and am very happy to become responsible for one of the eleven Vilavigne de France. We offer wines from several cooperatives to expand our catalog. The wines of Clochers and terroirs are featured in large number. In the central part there is a range of spirits from around the world and, on the side, there are Champagne wines on display. “

Alexandre Ghesquier, salesman and manager of this new store, already worked for Clochers et terroirs and ran the old cellar. He knows his job perfectly. He always advises and serves customers with kindness. The large car park in front of these new businesses and associations can only promote the success that we wish them.
