Viktor Verhulst is the new face of Temptation Island: Love or Leave, makes RTL announced on Tuesday. Together with Monica Geuze, De Vlaming presents the program in which couples test their relationship.
Both Dutch and Flemish couples will participate in the new series. Temptation Island: Love or Leave is a spin-off of the RTL reality series Temptation Island. The first series was presented by Geuze and Kaj Gorgels. He has been replaced by Verhulst because this time the program is a co-production with a Flemish production company.
It is not the first time that Verhulst can be seen on RTL: he previously presented the Dutch version of Love Island. “Temptation Island has been an iconic program on Dutch and Flemish television for years, a program of which I have watched all previous seasons “, says the son of Studio 100 boss Gert Verhulst.
“That is why I am very happy that I can present this new variant together with Monica. We are going to make it a great season, I am sure.”
Unlike the regular version, revolving around whether the couples can resist the temptation of other men and women, participants are now given the freedom to find out if they want to go on with their current boyfriend or girlfriend. Therefore do to Temptation Island: Love or Leave no so-called ‘seducers’, but singles who are looking for a serious relationship.
The recordings of the new season will start next summer at a still unknown location in Europe.
