“Peace is the key issue, but we are not doing well in this, because Brussels is burning with war fever,” said Viktor Orbán in Kossuth Radio’s Good Morning, Hungary program. The Prime Minister stated that we should work to end the war as soon as possible, compared to this, EU leaders in Brussels are arguing along the lines of war logic.
“We do not deliver weapons and we do not give money for weapons,” underlined the prime minister. As he said, the current support of 50 billion euros is meant to prevent the Ukrainian state from going bankrupt. He indicated that if the EU and the USA do not send money to Ukraine, the country will collapse.
“Time is on the side of the Russians, and the longer the war lasts, the more people die.” For Hungary, there was a danger that the money due to our country would be taken away and given to Ukraine, he noted. He emphasized that the leaders of the major countries had reached an agreement that this could not happen.
