The Continental Bottling Industry VIKOS SA is a family business, which was founded in 1990 and is one of the most well-known and established companies in the field of bottled water. It is a Greek company, which started its production activity by bottling, from the source of the same name, Natural Mineral Water “Vikos”, which has been available since 1992 in the Greek and foreign markets.
The company operates five state-of-the-art factories with vertically integrated production. Four factories bottle water and produce soft drinks, while the fifth factory, the PETCOM Plastics, produces plastic preforms from PET and caps. In its facilities, which cover 87,800m2, in a total area of 260 acres, the company uses 7 water sources, operates 33 lines and its production capacity is 492,200 bottles/hour
In 2014, after two years of intensive research and development, the company entered the soft drinks market with the release of 8 different flavors, creating a completely new product category, the “Vikos” Natural Mineral Soft Drinks. In 2017, the company enriched the range of soft drinks with 3 new flavors, with a low glycemic index and sweetener from the stevia plant, Vikos Colastevia, Vikos Orange Stevia and Vikos Stevia Lemonade.
In 2021 the company launched the Vikos ColaZeroSugar, the only ColaZeroSugar with natural mineral water and an exclusive recipe. In 2022, the category of mixers will be enriched with the launch of Vikos Pink
GrapefruitSoda. Vikos soft drinks are the only soft drinks made with natural mineral water from the ZAGOROCHORIA spring, using Greek fruit juice. In addition, in 2022 it completes the investment of 22 million in the new industrial plant in Kalpaki Ioannina and enters the HO.RE.CA market by launching new glass and aluminum packaging for natural mineral soft drinks.
