“Vikings” will play in the Futsal A League finals

On Saturday, it became clear that Jonava’s “Vikings” will definitely fight for the title of Lithuanian Futsal A League champion, as the Jonava team won the second semi-final match against FK “Saulės Krašas”.

The Vikings won 3-1 at home this week and broke again yesterday 4-2 on the road
“Land of the Sun”.

The Jonava club had a great start to the match – Taras Onufraks quickly scored a double, and after a few minutes, another Ukrainian, Ihoris Mandurs, added a goal.

As the break was approaching, T. Onufraks scored in his own goal and the result softened.

The Vikings could have clawed back a three-goal lead early in the second half, but missed a six-yard penalty and moments later the ball was in their own net, with Brazil’s Joao Marcos keeping the score to a minimum.

This course of the match raised their tension to the maximum as everything revolved around one mistake. However, “Vikings” avoided it, and at the end of the match, they realized the assigned penalty and celebrated the victory.

The winner of the pair of “Kaunas Žalgiris” and “Pramogės” Gargždas will be waiting for “Vikings” in the final. We will remind you that the Kaunas won the first match confidently.
