After the end of the Vikings, fans of these barbarians do not have to worry about the lack of new material. The creators have signed a contract with Netflix, for which they will create a completely new series called Vikings: Valhalla. He moves 100 years in the story and depicts a new generation of Vikings with their own goals and dreams. But you don’t have to worry. They will still not be great diplomats. Instead, we will see a lot of blood, battles and looting.
We can look forward to famous personalities of history, such as Leif Erikson, Harald Sigurdson, Freydis or Viliam the Conqueror. This time he will take on the project from the position of showrunner Jeb Stuart. The executive producer will be the Vikings creator Michael Hirst and the team will be joined by Morgan O’Sullivan, who, like Hirst, worked on the original series.
The premiere of 24 episodes of the first series is scheduled for 2022. Below you can watch the first teaser trailer.
