‘Vikings’ successor ‘Vikings: Valhalla’ does not take that long at all!

‘Vikings: Valhalla’ does not take very long at all and will therefore soon start on Netflix.

The recordings of Vikings: Valhalla have been completed. The first season is supposed to continue the story of the History Channel series, but takes place almost a hundred years later.

This year, the sixth season of the series will be concluded and then it is time for a whole new story, with completely new characters. As far as we now know, the spin-off can be seen on Netflix next year.

Vikings: Valhalla

Cast members of Vikings: Valhalla announced on their Instagram account that the recordings have been completed. But of course they are not really ready.

We know that a second season is already being worked on, which would again revolve around the descendants of Bjorn, Lagertha, Ragnar and the others. But the series does take place much later than the original: no less than a hundred years.

There is probably hardly any connection to the original series, although there is a chance that original cast members will return in flashbacks to attract some viewers looking for more of the same.
