For the time being, it has been voted that Stefan Stefanov, who is from the party structures in Veliko Tarnovo, will take their place in the executive bureau. Stefanov was proposed by the BSP leader Mikhail Mikov.
No remarks or reasons were given for the exclusion of Vigenin and Kutev, but according to Kadiev, this was even late, since the leadership had not been renewed since the time of the previous leader, Sergey Stanishev.
The deputy recalled that the chairman has the right to choose a team to work with and trust.
Anton Kutev left the BSP meeting without officially commenting.

and an alternative to today’s government, believes the chairman of the party, Mikhail Mikov, who spoke at the beginning of today’s plenum.
According to Mikov, the number of left-leaning legislative initiatives has increased.
However, he pointed out that while there is a revival of activity in the plenary hall, the same cannot be said for discipline.
There are a number of cases in which individual events became the occasion for long arguments in the public space and explanations, often true, but often serving our detractors who want the BSP to appear torn by contradictions, noted Mikov.
According to the leader of BSP, the party maintains its positions, while those of GERB are clearly falling.
“This is also due to the active promotion of a clear left-wing policy, for which more and more people should be attracted,” he believes.
According to Mikov, the government is carrying out supposed reforms and at the same time pushing far-right policies.
“There is chaos in the actions of the government and instability in the coalition as well. It is increasingly clear that the government relies on votes from parties that do not officially participate in the government,” said the chairman of the BSP, referring to the support in the DPS plenary hall.
Mikov also believes that the division in society and the manifestation of xenophobic and fascist sentiments continues, and that the government’s foreign policy is unmeasured and unbalanced.

Regarding the situation in the energy sector, the leader of the BSP noted that the saga with the price of electricity gives the clearest expression of the unchanged nature and character of today’s government.
According to him, extreme right-wing politics also continues in the field of health care. “A bill was passed that mechanically insulates large groups of people from health care, even if they were correct with their health contributions,” he pointed out.
Mikov also commented on the proposed changes to the constitution.
According to him, they obviously have one single goal – to strengthen the influence of the ruling coalition in the judiciary.
“With the changes, the individual segments within the judiciary will be encapsulated. No one answers the question of where the public is in the SJC. It also creates severe tension between the Minister of Justice and the relevant class”.
The chairman of the BSP also touched on the subject of the referendum, pointing out that holding it together with the local elections will create extreme difficulties in the electoral process.
As for the majority election of people’s representatives, no one gives clarity on what the geography of the country will look like and what the relative weight of the individual regions will be, Mikov explained. He also warned that there is a serious risk of strengthening corporate influence through preferences – for this reason, the matter had to be taken into account when arranging the lists.

Mikov defined the decision to set aside 2% of GDP for defense as a self-serving endeavor against the background of the lack of funds in other sectors.
A draft declaration was also read, to be discussed and adopted by the National Assembly, in connection with the deployment of NATO heavy military equipment in Bulgaria. BSP is categorically against this.
“Bulgaria itself must determine the source of the threats and the necessary level of protection. For Bulgaria and the Bulgarians, Russia is not a military threat,” the declaration says.
The National Assembly of the BSP expresses sympathy and empathy with the victims of the terrorist attacks of Friday, the declaration also says, and states that the real threat to peace and security lies in the circles of violent extremism and the Islamic State.
