Just outside Emmen live Ada, Hans and Ashley Veltman, together with Ashley’s fiancée Ezra. It’s always sweet, the family says cheerfully: “Everyone walks in here.” But that cheerfulness is not self-evident: in addition to serious money problems, the family has one blow after another.
For example, Hans is struggling with his health and he also carries great suffering with him: he lost two of his three children. Ada’s health is also fragile: she was hit by several infarcts and was therefore completely rejected. After all, Ezra also suffers from two illnesses, Usher’s syndrome and Marfan’s disease, which make his future uncertain.
Viewers are therefore moved by the family, which goes through life in a positive mood despite all the misery.

They will be awarded the world, and it looks like they will get it in Monaco too: Atoessa – owner of a catering company for private jets – has prepared no less than three thousand euros for the Veltman family to spend during their week in Monaco. The family does not know what they are experiencing, even when they entered the million-dollar villa just before: “It seems Dynasty!”.
And then the week full of caviar, shopping and wellness has yet to start.
