Viewers find Hélène Hendriks ‘relief’ in HLF8

Although it is not the first time that Hélène presents a talk show, the presenter knows the viewers of HLF8 nevertheless surprising. They write all kinds of nice words about her on Twitter. For example, someone might say, “All praise. Well done.’ ‘What a breath of fresh air’ and ‘Excellently done’, is what it sounds like. The presenter also seems to have lured some new viewers, because on Twitter some say: ‘I never watch, but now I do.’

Whether Johnny will make way for Hélène more often remains to be seen. If all goes well, we can expect the presenter again this evening behind his trusted desk. †[Hij] tomorrow will be better, I have decided,” said Hélène last night. If it is up to the viewers, however, the presenter will keep Johnny’s chair warm for a while: “Let Johnny take the time to get sick”, someone writes. “Best broadcast ever.’ It is not clear what exactly Johnny has.

It is not the first time that Hélène has taken over from a presenter. Earlier last year she had to fill in for Wilfred Genee during The Orange Summer. Even then Hélène scored well with the viewers and our entertainment expert Rob Goossens was also impressed.
