Viewers enjoy Een Huis Vol: ‘Always chaos, but above all love’

The episode opens with the Buddenbruck family, who live in Germany and consist of eleven children and one grandchild. The family had a nice evening, because one of the children turned four the day before. Father Rob has looked a little too deeply into the glass and, in his own words, has thrown ‘three quarters bottle of whiskey’ back. And he now regrets it, because he has to do odd jobs at the house of his son Miguel, who has bought a house with his girlfriend. Working with a hangover is not the best combination, but nevertheless he tries to make the best of it. When he and his wife Thaila see the house for the first time, they are very excited. The two look back on their own first home and, to the great hilarity of the viewers, are mainly talking to each other.

There is also a lot going on in the Jelies house. Janneke gave birth to baby number 9, a girl named Johni. While she and her husband Johan are preparing to go home in the hospital, their daughters are overjoyed at home. The fact that another girl has been born makes them very happy and they are busy with balloons and baking cakes. Only two and a half hours after giving birth, Janneke is told that she can go home again and is very excited to go home again. “I can’t wait to see the girls again. I know how anxious they are now waiting for us.” And that’s not a lie, because as soon as they get home, the girls are fighting among themselves to be the first to catch a glimpse of baby Johni.

It’s also fun with the Cudogham family: they spend a few days on holiday at a campsite in Flevoland. However, the reason for this is twofold: Cynthia’s father has pancreatic cancer and he is not doing well. In order to be able to spend as much time as possible with him and to enjoy each other’s company, they have booked this holiday. Although it is clear that they are having a great time, it is very difficult for Cynthia. “It’s very unpredictable and it doesn’t look good. But we try to be as positive as possible.”
