On December 19, a musical event “100 Years with Piafu” took place in the big hall of the “Splendid Palace” cinema, with the participation of pianist Andrei Osokin and singer Katrīna Gupalo. The event also saw the premiere of the short film “Mermaid’s Dream” made by director Ekaterina Lanskaja in Latvia. The evening is dedicated to the memory of the French artist Edith Piafa and took place symbolically on her and Andrei Osokin’s birthday – December 19.
