Viewers are enraged after the revelation of “Maskorama”.

When the snow robot mask, or should we say the hatch, was revealed in the second episode of “Maskorama,” there were both gasps and laughter from the investigative panel.

Inside the costume was the children’s television character Fantorangen. During the broadcast, it was claimed that 40 percent had guessed it was actress Mari Maurstad.

– It was fun, I liked it a lot, says the popular Fantorangen about the reactions to the panel.

American socket

– I was quite shocked, simply. Prove that anything can happen, says Marion Ravn.

In retrospect, both she and Jan Thomas told God kveld Norge that it was still something they had in the back of their mind, since “kermit the frog” starred in the US version in 2021.

– We knew it was possible and we’ve been on the subject all season, says Detective Jan Thomas, and adds:

– When we saw Fantorangen, it became obvious.

– But was it really like that? Many of you were in Mari Maurstad.

– When it was revealed, we linked it. Two were in Maurstad and I was in Anne Marie Ottesen, and I was 100% sure I was right. This is why Maskorama is the phenomenon it is, because you just say, “what ?!” But it’s really that funny, says Jan Thomas.

“What a shame!”

Immediately after the broadcast and until Sunday, however, the criticisms came from unhappy viewers.

In NRK’s Facebook comment field, opinions abound that “it was too childish.” Many feel deceived, as there was a fictional figure inside the costume.

Some also write that they can no longer bear to follow the program because it was too childish.

But many also argued that this was a good twist, perfect for kids, and are asking adults to stop sulking and take the program for what it is.

NRK: – Something for everyone

At least one thing is certain: “Maskorama” involves many. Number VG has gained access to shows that the program premiered last Saturday had over a million viewers, a decrease of 141,000 from last year.

NRK’s project editor Jan Egil Ådland says he received a lot of feedback after this weekend’s episode.

– Many were surprised, and if there was someone who was disappointed, there was even more who was happy, and especially the children!

In addition, he says that behind the masks “there is something for everyone”, and that on Saturday the children were the best investigators:

– We have received a lot of feedback from families where children have correctly guessed the snow robot. We think it’s a lot of fun.

To the criticism, in which some write that they cannot bear to watch more of the program, Ådland replies as follows:

– Our impression is that the vast majority of people think it was playful and funny that Fantorangen hid in the snow robot. We don’t think many people have cut Maskorama for it, because a new mask falls on Saturday.
