If the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) club Clippers in Los Angeles fails to make it to the finals of the Western Conference this season, it will be one of the biggest failures in NBA history, ESPN viewer Brian Windhorst is convinced.
Currently, the score in the series between the Clippers and the Denver Nuggets is 3-3. The Los Angeles club was in the lead in the series with 3-1, but suffered two losses in a row. In the previous match, the Clippers had a 19-point lead, which was missed during the third quarter.
“If the Clippers lose to Denver, it will be a historic disappointment,” said an ESPN journalist.

One of the strongest teams in the NBA in recent years has never been able to reach the conference final. Since 2013, when Clippers has been leading Dock Rivers, The Los Angeles team once did not enter the “play-off” at all, but stopped three more times in the first round.
This season, in the quarterfinals of the conference, the Clippers easily defeated the Dallas Mavericks, represented by Kristaps Porziņģis, 4-2.
