More than 85,000 people attended the opening ceremony of the Ros Beiaard in Dendermonde. According to the organizers, everything went smoothly and no incidents were reported. “When the Ros Beiaard goes into stables again, there is the big emo moment. That is the most difficult moment. It has to be stabled for eight years,” says an emotional mayor Piet Buyse in “Het journaal”.
