View the dust demon vortex with the Mars Perseverance rover

Mars contains excellent ingredients for dust devils.

While taking photos of its new environment on the arid surface of Mars, the probe has recently appeared I’ve seen a spiral Dust circulates in the distance. Below is the fabric demon behind the rover arm:

Mars is an exceptionally dry desert planet today, so it is an ideal land for the formation of short-lived dust devils. Sometimes long-lived Great dust storms sweep the planetIt also obscures large parts of Mars due to reddish mars dust.

Mars wasn’t always a dry, dusty world, though. Planetary scientists at NASA believe that Mars supported the abundance of water – and possibly life in it. As a space agency Mention

NASA scientists estimate that Mars had at least 5 million cubic miles of water. This is more than the volume of water found in Earth’s Arctic Ocean. If this amount of water were present on Mars today, it would cover 19% of its surface and reach a maximum depth of a mile.

The Perseverance Wagon, in search of evidence that microbial life survived (or thrived?) On Mars, begins to explore the Jezero Crater, a place NASA says it likely will be “Immersed in water.”
