Notice to motorists. Due to maintenance work, several tunnels will be closed at night in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), starting the Monday 17 until Friday 21 May 2021. Here are which ones.
Old Port, Major, and Joliette
The Métropole d’Aix-Marseille reminds motorists that several tunnels will be closed this week. Regularly, maintenance work is carried out to “keep the equipment in optimal operating condition”, explains the Metropolis.
The night of Monday 17 to Tuesday 18 May and that of Tuesday 18 to Wednesday 19 May from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., the Joliette and Vieux-Port tunnels in the North / South and South / North direction as well as the Major tunnel will be closed.
For the night of wednesday 19 at Thursday, May 20 from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. all of these aforementioned tunnels will be closed. Finally for the last evening of maintenance work, from Thursday 20 to Friday 21 May from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., only the Saint-Charles and Saint-Loup tunnels will be closed.
