In it, the Chinese head of state points out that this year marks the tenth anniversary of the promotion of a number of his ideas, such as those on building a community of shared destiny, the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and neighborly diplomacy. “Building a community of shared destiny must start from Asia first, and the development of China-Vietnam relations has always been a priority in the diplomatic activities of the CCP and the Chinese government,” stressed Xi Jinping.
In an article, he suggested that China and Vietnam should work to develop their relationship in four directions: maintain strategic consultation to strengthen the political foundation between them, complement each other in cooperation, strengthen friendly people-to-people exchanges, and control differences.
In conclusion, the Chinese leader pointed out that the construction of a strategic community of shared destiny between China and Vietnam will attract more countries to appreciate this idea and join its implementation, which will give more positive energy to sustainable development and good neighborliness in Asia and contribute to global peace and development.
