Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese exports to America they could reach more than 130 billion dollars in 2022, especially with the United States and the countries of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
In fact, during the first half of the year, Vietnam’s sales to this market rose nearly 22 percent to nearly $77 billion, including $66.7 billion to the United States.

The United States ranks first among Vietnam’s outlets, surpassing other majors such as China, South Korea, Japan, the European Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The entry into force of the CPTPP has fostered a dazzling growth in vietnamese exports to its member states. For example, exports to Canada last year reached 5.3 billion dollars, 20.8 percent more than in 2020.
As for Mexico, in 2021 exports to this market soared, reaching 4.6 billion dollars, a growth of more than 100 percent compared to the period before the agreement entered into force. Currently, Vietnamese companies are taking advantage of the advantages of CPTPPspecialists opined.
Aquatic, timber, agricultural, textile-clothing, footwear products, among others, experienced impressive growth. In 2021, sales of textile-clothing items reached nearly 18 billion dollars; shoes, eight billion dollars; machinery, equipment, accessories, almost 20 billion dollars./.
