“Vietnamese Craftsmen Build Impressive Replica of Ferrari LaFerrari with Fiberglass and Clay Body”

Cars are often an object of interest, desire, or even lust. It can be a practical family car, an SUV or a luxury sedan. However, many car enthusiasts do not let sports cars sleep – just like a group of skilled craftsmen from Vietnam, who show that with a little ingenuity and a lot of luck, dreams can come true.

The team calls itself NHET TV and currently has 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube. In the past, they have already created several remarkable replicas, the last time it was the Bugatti Chiron, this time they took on the Ferrari LaFerrari and took the design quality to a higher level. Building the car took hundreds of hours of work and the car is largely built with bare hands.

The carbon body of the original is replaced by fiberglass, but there is a version with a clay (!) body. And although a connoisseur will discover the replica relatively quickly, it must be noted that it is an admirable feat that many will look back on.

There are swing doors that open upwards and five-spoke alloy wheels modeled after the original, and even the active rear spoiler is surprisingly functional. There is fully functional LED lighting in the front and back.

Those who expected a bare interior might be surprised. The seats, steering wheel, dashboard, instrument panel, and even the shift paddles under the steering wheel faithfully copy the top supersport from Maranello for tens of millions of CZK.

The basis of the car is a steel frame of its own construction, the heart of the car is a four-cylinder gasoline engine from Toyota Carina, which is oddly placed in front of the rear axle and drives the rear wheels just like in the original.

Interestingly, despite the absence of an impressive naturally aspirated 12-cylinder, there is an engine cover that seems to have fallen out of sight of the original one. Proof of the sophistication of the entire build is the fact that the team of craftsmen went to the trouble of adjusting the geometry of the chassis to match the concept of a mid-mounted engine with a rear-driven axle.

Of course, the vehicle will not accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in under three seconds or reach a maximum speed of 350 km/h, but it may be enough to fulfill a long-standing dream and a feeling of being special. At the very least, the build deserves admiration for the enormous passion and attention to detail and quality of the work done. What is your opinion?
