Whole Foods is one of the most famous retail chains with the highest quality standards in the United States. It took me 2 years of negotiation to bring our specialty Robusta coffee products from Vietnam to the shelves of this system“said Sahra Nguyên, CEO of Nguyen Coffee Supply, in New York, USA.

“After hearing the story of the quality and origin of Vietnamese coffee beans, I really wanted to put the most authentic Vietnamese coffee experiences on supermarket shelves so that Americans could enjoy them,” shared John Lawson, distribution chain representative for Whole Foods.

According to him, although Vietnam is the second largest supplier of Robusta coffee to the United States, Robusta is only used as an instant coffee or an ingredient for processing other foods. This made the origin and brand of Vietnamese coffee unclear. Sahra’s introduction of coffee products made from Robusta beans has helped the public to have more choices.

The presence of Nguyen Coffee Supply’s products in the media helped spread Vietnamese coffee “fever” throughout the United States. “I think Vietnam’s Robusta beans have the potential to become a specialty beverage in the United States,” said Jonathan Morris, a coffee expert from New York.

In recent years, in the United States, many Vietnamese people have started their business with Vietnamese coffee, proving the growing demand for Vietnamese coffee by Americans and the potential of this Vietnamese product in the market of more than 300 million people.
