Hanoi (VNA) – The Prime Minister’s Official Telegram 122/CD-TTg, issued on November 27, 2024, calls on the State Bank of Vietnam (BEV) and relevant organizations to implement credit management solutions to promote economic growth and macroeconomic stability in 2024. .

Under the guidance of the Party and the Government, credit institutions have made efforts to overcome problems, but they still face many challenges such as natural disasters, international conflicts and the instability of the global economic situation.

The Prime Minister called on the BEV to proactively and flexibly manage monetary policy, coordinate with fiscal policies, reduce loan interest rates, and support businesses and individuals to recover after natural disasters.

Credit institutions must focus on the areas of production and business, giving priority to digital transformation, the green movement, the response to climate change, the circular economy, science and technology, and creativity and innovation.

At the same time, it is necessary to strictly control credit for risk areas, ensuring security and efficiency in credit activities, especially in sensitive industries such as real estate and securities.

In addition, the head of Government asked BEV to continue presenting solutions to eliminate problems in obtaining credit for companies and individuals. The credit growth target in 2024 is 15%.

Likewise, favorable credit packages must be promoted to help people and businesses overcome difficulties, especially after Typhoon Yagi.

The BEV must also strictly control the granting of credit, reduce bad debts and ensure transparency in lending activities.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc will lead the implementation of related activities, and the Government Office will monitor and promote the use of these activities to ensure that the goals set in 2024 to achieve./.
