KOMPAS.com – U23 National Team Vietnam displaces Indonesia from the top of the soccer Group A standings SEA Games 2021. They took the top spot after beating Myanmar.
Laga Myanmar vs Vietnam in advanced group phase SEA Games football 2021 will be held at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho, Vietnam, on Friday (13/5/2022) evening WIB.
Vietnam as the host team managed to beat Myanmar with a score of 1-0 thanks to Hung Dung’s only goal in the 76th minute.
Hung Dung who is the captain of revenge U23 national team Vietnam, breaking into Myanmar’s goal after maximizing Van Do’s pull bait.
Hung Dung’s only goal was enough to earn all three points and take Vietnam up to the top of the football Group A standings SEA Games 2021.
Vietnam now leads the standings thanks to a score of seven points from three matches. They have a history of two wins and one draw.
Before defeating Myanmar, Vietnam first won over Indonesia (3-0) and won a draw with the Philippines (0-0).
In the process, Vietnam rose to the top of Group A by displacing Indonesia and Myanmar.

Currently, Indonesia, which had topped the standings, had to be willing to go down to second place.

The competition for the 2021 SEA Games soccer semifinals will be decided on matchday last Group A, when Vietnam, Indonesia, and Myanmar, both played matches.
Vietnam will play the last match of the group phase against Timor Leste at the Viet Tri Stadium on Sunday (15/5/2022) night WIB.
Prior to that, on the same day, Indonesia and Myanmar were scheduled to compete for the deciding points towards the semifinals.
