This was revealed by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam in the last 24 hours 2,013 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported, bringing the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Vietnam to 11,441,626, the highest number among the countries of the Southeast Asia (ASEAN).
The number of deaths from the COVID-19 virus was 43,130.
Vietnam is facing an outbreak of Omicron BA.4, BA.5, BA.2.75 and BA.2.12.1 strains as the government accelerates the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
