VietJet Bikini Airlines Fly Again to Bali, Bringing 201 Passengers

The viral airline with bikini-clad flight attendants, VietJet officially flew back to Bali. They carried 201 passengers to the Island of the Gods on the inaugural flight.

Premier flight Vietjet Water from Ho Chi Minh City to Bali took place on Thursday (28/4). The plane with flight number VJ893 was carrying 201 passengers.

Aircraft Vietjet landed on the runway of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport at 13.38 WITA. The arrival of this inaugural plane was greeted by a ceremonial water salute session from the PK-PPK vehicle belonging to PT Angkasa Pura I.

The same plane then flew back to Ho Chi Minh City at 14.33 WITA carrying 72 passengers, using flight number VJ894.

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I Faik Fahmi welcomed this positively. With the return of Vietjet, it is hoped that it will be a breath of fresh air for the development of Bali tourism.

“The return to operation of this airline proves that Bali is an international destination route that is still highly anticipated by world citizens. We are optimistic that the reopening of this route will be able to support the growth of international route passengers in Bali, and directly contribute positively to the Balinese economy,” said Faik in a statement. written, Friday (29/4/2022).

With the operation of the airline VietJet Air, now I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport serves 10 regular international flight routes, namely Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Istanbul, Perth, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Previously, several other airlines had activated their regular routes, namely Garuda Indonesia, Singapore Airlines, Jetstar Asia, KLM Royal Dutch, Scoot, Malaysia Airlines, Jetstar Airways, Qatar Airways, AirAsia, Turkish Airlines, Thai AirAsia, and Qantas.
