Netrebko, Kaufmann, Forez on Sunday in a live stream from the RadioKulturhaus.
Under the motto “We play for Austria”, the Vienna Stasatsoper, in association with ORF III, is offering a live concert at RadioKulturhaus on Sunday, April 19. Stars like Anna Netrebko and husband Yusif Eyvazov, Juan Diego Flórez, Valentina Nafornița, Tomasz Konieczny, Elena Maximova and Jongmin Park sing arias and convey personal musical messages to their audience. In addition, Jonas Kaufmann, Piotr Beczala and Andreas Schager (in association with his violin wife Lidia Baich) sent greetings via video playback. Barbara Rett leads through the program. A string quartet of the RSO Vienna, led by concert master Peter Matzka, makes music, the singers are accompanied by the director of studies at the Vienna State Opera, Jendrik Springer.
The recording of the live stream, which will take place under strict health safety precautions, is then available online for one week on the myfidelio.at platform (also via Austria via ORF-TVthek).
The Volksoper will follow with a specially designed operetta program on April 26, among the artists of course director Robert Meyer. On May 3rd the United Stages will present a musical program.
