The joy of dancing is coming to Vienna! For the new dance series “VIENNA DANCES”moderated by look!-Editor Uschi Pöttler-Fellner, we are looking for courageous and dance-loving Viennese people. The big casting will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024 – from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the magnificent ballroom of the Grand Hotel Vienna (Kärntner Ring 9, 1010 Vienna). It doesn’t matter whether you’ve never danced before or have only recently started dancing: the main thing is that you have fun dancing!
Out on the dance floor: Vienna is looking for the dream dance couple
Who can apply?
Anyone who has little or no dance experience is welcome to take part, as the series is aimed at people with a maximum of one year of previous knowledge. Particularly exciting: Participation takes place in pairs, and same-sex couples are also very welcome! The casting call goes out to all dance couples who would like to take their first steps in front of a wide audience and get a taste of the dance world.
The series: 9 couples on the way to dance success
Accompanied in four exciting episodes “VIENNA DANCES” on W24 – The city television A total of nine dance couples from different age groups on their way from complete beginners to accomplished dance students. Each episode shows insights into the couples’ lives and progress.
Three dances are the focus of the lesson: the fiery Cha Cha Cha, the lively Boogie and the elegant Viennese Waltz. The couples learn the basics and subtleties of these dances in five private training sessions. These dance lessons are not only led by professional trainers, but also accompanied by dance experts who impart valuable tips and tricks.

Filming days and the grand finale
The shooting schedule is set: the dance steps will be on Friday, November 22nd, from 3 p.m as well as on Monday, December 2nd and Monday, December 9th from 5 p.m recorded. The participants can look forward to unforgettable hours in which they not only live out the joy of dancing, but also work towards a special goal.
In the grand finale, the best dancing couple will face a special challenge: a jury of celebrities will decide which duo will emerge as the winner of the competition. With this mixture of passion for dance, mutual development and a bit of fighting spirit promises “VIENNA DANCES” an entertaining, inspiring experience for all viewers.
