Vienna – This case caused quite a stir in Austria: three days before Christmas Eve, the Vienna Child and Youth Welfare Service (WKJH, equivalent to our youth welfare office) took the triplets away from the well-known Viennese lawyer Liane Hirschbrich.
The lawyer now went public and made her case public.
Sara, Caroline and Christian were born two months early on October 8th. The children were therefore initially cared for in a Viennese hospital. On December 20th, Hirschbrich was finally able to take her “three treasures” home with her.
Shortly before Christmas, youth welfare services are at the door
But the very next day, a youth welfare worker appeared at her door accompanied by the police. According to the lawyer, they appeared without prior notice and “snatched” the triplets from her.

The woman notices that a baby’s diaper is full. When asked whether the mother still wanted to change the diaper herself, Hirschbrich said no. She wants to continue recording everything. The WKJH employee then changes the child herself.
The lawyer is known from the media in Austria. She repeatedly represented serious offenders in court and repeatedly appeared as an interview partner for the “Österreich” editor Wolfgang Fellner (69) on the “Oe24” station.

Reason for the WKJH’s intervention according to Liane Hirschbirch: She would work too much! Doctors and social workers at the clinic where the triplets were cared for alerted the authorities.
The single mother contradicts this accusation of overwork in the Austrian press: As head of the law firm, she can arrange her working hours as she wants. So far, she has been able to look after her eleven-year-old son Georg alongside work. She also successfully raised a 25-year-old daughter. She once dozed off in the clinic in a dark room with the children, and that was taken as a reason.
