In the tenth district of Vienna around Reumannplatz there were riots on New Year’s Eve. A group of 20 to 30 people broke the corona restrictions and fired off illegal pyrotechnics.
According to media reports, window panes of surrounding apartments and shops are said to have been damaged. The rioters destroyed garbage cans and park benches. They are also said to have pelted the police with guns.
