Vienna Children’s University will be hybrid this year

After the purely online edition in the first Corona summer 2020, the Vienna Children’s University will be hybrid this year: 200 courses will be offered from July 12 to 22 at six locations. Instead of large lectures, however, there are small groups this time, a student ID is only available in exchange for a negative Covid test certificate. On July 14th and 21st there will also be family lectures in the live stream and on July 12th numerous new articles will be activated on kinderuni.online.

Children between seven and twelve can each choose two of the 200 courses that take place at the University of Vienna, the Medical University of Vienna, the Technical University, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, the University of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Economics. The subjects of the face-to-face courses this time range from the question “Can cucumbers shine” to the subject of “Infected environment”. The annual motto this time – also with a view to the numerous Covid-19 security measures – is “healthy and happy”. The program is already online, you can register for the small group formats from June 14th, registration starts on June 21st.
