In order to develop the academic staff’s skills in working with innovative teaching methods, 42 teaching staff from 13 countries are staying at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) this week, from October 23 to 27.
On these days, ViA instructors will share theoretical insight into the use of innovative pedagogic methods and their practical application, such as simulations, virtual reality, multimedia literacy, etc., as well as offer the opportunity to try them out, so that participants can ensure the transfer of new competencies in their educational institutions.
It should be noted that teaching staff from such countries as Ukraine, Moldova, Chile, India, Belgium, Portugal, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Slovakia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Bulgaria have come to learn the program offered by ViA.
The visit of foreign teaching staff takes place with the support of the Erasmus+ program in a mixed-type intensive program proposed by ViA “Innovative Methods For Future Skills”.
